WHAT IS IMIM?
The International Master in Industrial Management (IMIM) is a multi-site Master Program, designed to provide students with primarily scientific or engineering based educational backgrounds with essential business and managerial skills, relevant to pursuing careers in internationally orientated manufacturing and services industries. The IMIM Programme is offered by three leading Universities:
- Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), Spain
- Heriot-Watt University (HWU) School of Social Sciences (SOSS), in Scotland (UK) and Dubai
- Tecnológico de Monterrey, Mexico
The International Master in Industrial Management (IMIM) has been running since 2004 and was accredited for the Erasmus Mundus program by the European Commission in 2006 and 2013. This new 2019-2021 edition of IMIM builds on the previous success of the program, the experience gained through its implementation and the incorporation of new academic partners and study pathways.
The curriculum has been revamped to reflect the new needs and challenges of managing in the industrial setting in the XXI century in an increasingly digital world, but also to give way to a more integrated design by redefining some of the contents and learning objectives taking advance of the experience accumulated to gain a better interconnection throughout the academic trajectories. The unifying theme of this new IMIM, which has been the guide for the design of its integrated structure, is industrial management on the face of the challenges of the globalization in an increasingly digital world.
A new IMIM
IMIM’s unique integration of management and engineering demonstrates excellent results.
The Spanish national news agency, El Mundo, has ranked IMIM as the best Engineering Master in Spain (2019).
